Guess those of us who braved today's Digi Quill Carnival suffer as early adopters. Hopefully the team will debrief properly and figure out the queue system.

While it was annoying to have to stand for 7 hours and watch as the newbie staff got bullied into letting people jump queue, it wasn't too bad. As somebody who has tasted FUBAR sauce, I sympathize for them.

Not necessary. The only advantage to doing so at the redemption counter is that they will apply your warranty registration process for you.


Backup your contacts etc into iTunes and sync it with your new phone?

Btw, who the heck cares what firmware version the phone comes with? 4.1 is already available for download on iTunes.

Besides some cheap 3rd party cases and screen protectors, there were some iFrogz and Altec Lansing stuff. Highlight for me is the Altec Lansing Blackbeat 906 going for RM100 less.

The only Griffin products are chargers, mounts and a passport wallet. As mentioned, look for better cases elsewhere; the iPhone 4 should not suffer the indignity of crappy shovelware.
