I ran for 59 minutes and no errors were found...I guess the temps are low because its almost night that time. I will try to stress it again tomorrow with maybe a x19 multiplier. By the way, if it crashes it, temps are not the main reason right?

1 more thing which I always forgot to mention. On the first time I change my multiplier to x17, I bootup and went to open HWMonitor and CPUZ suddenly the pc restarts...after that nothing happens. Everything is normal...is there anything I should worry about?

ur cpu volt no enuf, pump more vcore(when i say more, i do not mean alot, usually i increase by 0.01 volt increment)

try stressing it la n see if its fine. have try stressing it using the in-place large fft option, n change the option " time to run each fft size(in minutes )" from 15 to 1 minute

hey guys, i only now to stabilize OCing the black editions cpu(phenom II x4) by increasing the cpu-nb clock to a certain higer clock thru formula. how bot the HT link speed(default shud be at 2000Mhz), must i oso kacau this settings to achieve higher stable Overclock?

we all noe my proc max safe CPU volt under air colling would be 1.44-1.5v, but how bout the CPU NB max safe voltage? any1 noes? i dunwan to burn my mobo, currently stabilizing OC of 3.9Ghz with 1.3v CPU NB..

my best OC so far, come2 comments, any bad or good or room of improvement( gonna try 4Gghz later 2nite, still can stabilize it , heard a legend u can increase the NB(not CPU NB) volt abit, but duno how much, takut anything happen, all i noe stock is at 1.1v, till now still getting blue screens...anyway check this oc out guys!

- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
- Phenom II 965 BE
- CPU stepping : CACAC AC 09456PMW
- Revision : RB-C3
- Max CPU clock speed : 3917.7 MHz (200.9*19.5)
- CPU voltage : 1.472 V
- Northbridge clock : 2800.0 MHz MHz @ 1.40 V
- HTT link speed : 2009.1 MHz
- HTT link voltage : stock voltage(shud be at 1.1v)
- Motherboard used : GIGABYTE 870A-UD3
- Type of cooling : Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme(Air)

guys, having troble here! im using windows 7 64 bit, my rig as in the siggy below, OCing my proc, this is the max i can go
http://s.lowyat.net/uploads//attach-14/pos...-1278896517.jpg
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1003744/+240#entry34907871
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1290656
but i still cant stabilize 4GHz of OC, tried CPU-NB voltage of 1.45v, cpu voltage at 1.52, even NB volt i pump to 1.20v, still cant get it stabilize during priming, tried every combo at a very high voltage(all combo except HT link speed n voltage and also the HTT coz im using BE proc). im using c3 revision proc, so i dun think my proc just can go an more higher, izzit because of the windows im using(64-bit) ?

btw my mobo bios setting has a very weird HT link setting, it only offer me to tweak the speed(400MHz - 2.6 GHZ), no option to tweak the 200Mhz default HT link, and also no option to increase of decrease the HT link voltage.

u forgot one thing, temperature. what's d load temp @ 4GHz? what's ya nb freq? u don't need 1.45v for < 2.6k, especially for c3 chips. bear in mind that higher imc volt will contribute to higher cpu temp. nb volt @ 1.2v is fine thou. sometimes, in order to be prime stable at certain clock, u need lower temp in order for d setup to be able to pass prime test.  nod.gif

correct me if i'm wrong, for ya bios, ht link @ 400MHz = ht link multi @ 2x, 600MHz @ 3x... and so on...  smile.gif
*
4ghz temps max load is like around 65 C, izzit not stable bcoz of the temps?

Or can meh?

mine is rev 1 set, they got giv extra AMD bracket, can use it to put rear exhaust smile.gif. shud i lap my tuniq, but the thing is its HDT base, so still not sure....

Have u tried changing the TT extreme fan? I heard it wasn't really good hmm.gif
Maybe a higher CFM fan would do the trick?  hmm.gif
*
yeah i did, bought a Gentle typhoon fan(on my siggy), but apperently the stock fan still perform better(GT fans are way more quiet thou), so i guess i need a fan with higher cfm fan(bought the GT fan coz it has only 57 cfm, but very high static pressure, surely higher thn my stock fan), now not sure whether shud i stick to my stock fan(after i plan to lap it) or get a new fan(noise wont be a factor coz i hav sumbea, rhebous fan controller tongue.gif)

my stock fan....
Bearing Type: Magnetic Fluid Dynamic Bearing
Rated Voltage: 12V DC
Rated Current: 0.26A (Max)
Air Flow: 90.65 CFM (Max)
Noise: 16~20 +/- 10%dBA
Speed: 1000~2000 RPM
Life: 50,000 hours
Thermal Resistance 0.092 (℃ / W)

shud i get either these 2 fans?
Scythe 120x25mm SlipStream SY1225SL12SH (1,900 rpm, 110 cfm, 37 dBA)
or
Scythe S-Flex SFF21G (1,900 rpm, 75 cfm, 35 dBA)
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=54&t=1080565

all i noe the difference between these two fans are the bearings.

Change the stock fan of the TT extreme
Reviews said it is not 90.xx CFM as advertised

Put for casing fan better tongue.gif
*
yeah i noe, but i would rate it around 75 cfm or so, still better thn cm 90cfm fans i think, n also the new scythe GT fan i bought, btw when u ment casing fan, which fan ur talking bout?

so u think i shud go for slipstream rather thn s-flex? who cares bout bling2, performace > bling2 for me now, unless im fom moscow tongue.gif

u guys forgot bout one thing, the bearing type also effect the price tag, where bearing type determine how long or hours the fan would work, tats why the 2 scythe fans hav odd price tag, one is using superior bearing even with lower cfm thn the other smile.gif

wanna ask, lets say ive been OCing thru bios, n suddenly wanna changt to Overdrive, but when i open the program, all the values shown(aside from proc clock speed) looks default, the volts, HT link volts, clocks, n evertin. doesnt it suppose to load the seting automatically like in the bios settings?

the NB volt i meant was cpu NB volt ofkos smile.gif supposely shud be stable, alredy wack the higest volt man, dun tell me the blue screen crap is bcoz my window 7 64 bit is the culprit mad.gif

@ selferino,

how bout load temp? 384 = small fft, mite cause by cpu instability. how bout 13 * 300 instead?  hmm.gif
*
load temp was like 62-63C,(coz of the high volt i need to pump), tried lower volts, cant get to stable above 512k ffts, keep getting blue screen(hardware failure n bla3). 300 HTT? i got BE, just use multi, if wanna play wif bus, alot of stuff need to be done, maybe downclock my ram first or whatnot?
