Hey guys, sorry to invade this thread, but i can see lots of futsal players here...
So, i wanna ask u guys, what brand of futsal boots is cheap yet the durability is very good....? Any suggestion..? My boots juz spoiled...=(

Depends what you want la bro. For me, I'm just a so-so player so you give me the best boots in the world also I doubt I'll play any better tongue.gif

But I'm using Nike Air Gato and I quite like it because its the most comfortable shoes I ever had. It will never ever ever make me a better player (due to excessive overeating, this is a permanent problem now). A bit on the high side though at RM249. Some of the guys here like the Nike T series or the Adidas Salas which are specialised futsal shoes. Perhaps these types are better for futsal compared to the futsal version of field football boots, which is usually the lowest end of the football boots range.

There's an equipment thread on the sticky, I think you can search there as well.

I'm a cheapskate so none of my shoes have gotten past the RM200 mark in the past 10 years or so that I'd been playing. Usually it hovers around the RM120-RM150 mark... and lasts between 8 months to a year. No specific brands... I've used Nikes, Adidas, Reeboks and the like.

The only takeaway I can offer... and this was given from a friend who used to work in one of the major brands, is to avoid buying shoes that are on cheap sale. Usually this means it's unsold stock, or have been around for a long time, so the rubbers have hardened. It won't last as long.

by the way dont use Puma if you have wide forefoot, im using them and my toes are so sore everytime after futsal since it constantly rubs against the Callus that i have on both of my big toes

..got it for Rm 150 total waste of money..cant afford to change it yet since i just got it like 2 months back doh.gif

Ill stick to the tried and trusted Power by Bata when im gonna buy the next one..maybe you can try it who know you might like em

Yep. For good and cheap ones, Umbro is not too bad also. IINM, Mizuno also quite good price but you can only find it in Pertama Complex.

Futsal shoes got high heels, no laces, no inside cushion and basically resembles a sliper Jepun...

Silly answers aside, before you buy a futsal shoe, make sure you know which surface you are going to use that shoe for. There are different surfaces for different shoes. Example turf shoes for artificial grass, flat sole shoes for teraflex and carpet.

Turf soles are usually black in colour, while flat soles are usually yellowish/ orange-ish in colour.

It all depends on which surface courts you will be using them on the most.

Btw, i heard from a little bird that someone is eye-ing the new nike t-7 *cough* oldman *cough*

oldman is like the bootmaster you should ask him for your daily boots advices.

different boots cater for different needs. example: ball control freaks like oldman would definately get the T-7, as it provides better control. as for someone who erm...prefers not to run & control the ball so much and prefers to blast the ball into the top corner prefers adidas predator series. flex.gif
