Just to weigh in with a suggestion, just do away with the regulars clause. It creates confusion, How do you define a regular? A guy who has played for quite a while couple of years ago but has not been playiing for a few months prior (I.e aku) vs a new guy who has been coming for the past month.

Unless a clear definition of 'regulars' is established and agreed upon, there are bound to be disagreements. And capping it to 18 is a good idea, just nice actually.

Just revert to a first come first serve basis, have a consistency on the timing for the list to be out *cough Naz*. The regulars would roughly know when the list is out anyways. It wouldn't be fair when a guy puts his name on Sunday evening just to be pipped to a spot by a 'regular' who put his name on Monday afternoon,

IMHO, cap it at 18, first-come, first-served basis (regulars and newbies). Those who FFK-ed for more than set number of times, will have their names put on Pending regardless of how early they post their name on the list.

Actually... Most of the time I wait for Epic Eric to put up the list. If by Sunday evening its not up, I assume Epic is having classes or might not be playing on Monday so I put up the list.

Should we restrict the list opening just to Epic, so as to avoid people putting up the list too early?

Well wait till sunday.. sometimes regulars miss it.. before the list come out just pm our dato eric if you need to play.. and when the list come out he can print out all regulars place.

Urmm you guys do know that all the PMs and SMSes is actually quite a lot of work for Epic Eric right, esp on a weekly basis? I've been doing that for Thu Futsal every week only out of necessity, its not hard but quite tedious and something I wish I didn't have to. Mon sessions will be harder due to its popularity.

well it is not as if on weekly basis we need regular status favours..

I agree, organising a session week in week out is a hassle enough already without all the special request PMs and SMSes or whatnot.
Just a simple first-come-first serve, limit to 18 person with pending slots will do fine.
