im gonna go buy myself an xbox tommorow. ive searched the forums on what u have to know when buying it and ive decided that id go checkout tech2 at sg.wang or another one in low yat. im planning on getting a modded xbox360 arcade version with a 250gb hdd added and with 2 controllers. Is this a good choice? or shud i go for the elite? need everyone opinion A.S.A.P! suggestions and other recommendations are very welcomed!

do you know new model of xbox360 will be release soon? its known as xbox360 slim elite 250gb , 18th july 2010 would be the date for this console official launch in singapore..the previous model production already being stop by microsoft..

if you asked , is it worth to get modded console ? well it depending on your budget..if you kindda tight on budget (still student etc.) then i guess its worth it , but if you kindda in high side of income or willing to spend on genuine games , then go for unmodded console , plus unmodded console are greater then modded once..

unmodded console :

1. you can play online via xbox live
2. you will not getting banned from microsoft
3. warranty covered by microsoft
4. download firmware straight from your gaming room

modded console :

1. you may get banned by microsoft due to modification , they can detect
2. no warranty from microsoft at all , its warranty by UNCLE IVAN @ TECH2
3. you wont feel much joy playing the next gen console , due to lack of some function
4. each time to play new games , you must send to a gameshop to update the custom firmware , which is ridiculous job to do

the conclusion was , just wait until 18th july , get the new xbox360 slim model , of course its unmodded console..and believe me modded console are useless.

im still a student,so online gaming+original games is not an option..so i guess that answers the 'unmodded' and 'modded' thing..maybe in a few years time,when im finaly working i'll get the unmodded stuff and buy original games..but by then theres already an 'Xbox720'! haha

about the slim xbox360, the price will surely be higher than the original plus, its gonna take sometimes to mod it? or is it the other way around?

putting that aside,i guess im still gonna go buy the fat one tommorow. so i really need peoples guide and suggestions!which one shud i buy and what to expect?

although,im still a little heavy on the 'play online' thing..hmmmm

just buy unmodded and buy 1 game enough and make it multiplayer. it will last u for months if not year. u need to play the whole game catalog meh?

er,dont hate me for this but i have this habit of not finishing games all the way..the last game i ever finished was msg,ps1... so,erh..having only 1 game at home is kinda boring..one of the main reason i chose the xbox over ps3 is the huge game library and its 'cheap'..if wanna play ori games,than im better off buying the ps3 all the way(which i wont)...but thanks for the opinion

unfortunately,not all of us are born with families who are stinkin rich..also im not that smart to get scholar from jpa,mara bla,bla,bla and use that money to to buy an xbox or a ps3..so,yep, im a normal malaysian who thinks that way..
