Home 3D experience is so overrated.

Portable 3D without glasses however, is such a relief if you've done your time experiencing the evolution of consumer 3D tech.

Guess that's why people are so pissed that nintendo pawned everyone else by jumping the technology-suppression-theory by a few years @ 5 year profit plan. Their goes ur expensive show-off investments wink.gif. Different experience undoubtfully, but one must ask oneself, which one do u think is total reboot and which is an update hmm.gif

Am a Sony+nintendo fanboy too, but fact is, nintendo was the only one who really produced a real innovation, not just another hd update for graphic whores, Har Har hardy har

its not the effects la, its the content that's played..

frankly, am still amazed at current perception of graphics/effects are everything rather than the actual content of game/movie/whatever itself. no wonder there's a lot of crappy movies nowadays....

yeah yeah... before someone says it, wii does have a lot of shovel-ware, yet another mario/zelda/metroid game etc etc, but a lot of people still play it anyway right? wonder why.......... and wonder why the DS always ruled the handheld market with its "obsolete" games, it always had 2nd rate graphics by "todays" standards...

yup, 3d on the 3DS from directly in front of the screen sound like common sense, depth perception from an off-centre position will not be right thing to do as the effect wont be as its intended to be

note: best seat in a 3d cinema is always the centre and optimal screen coverage to the ends (left ,right, top n bottom) of your field of vision right? reason being the distortion from the glasses produces a weird effect on things not on screen.

...3D effects is about effective usage of depth to convey the intended message/effect, true?
