5 years ago, Sony and Microsoft thought winning the hardware wars requires consoles with the highest horsepower and high def. Nintendo went the other route.

To answer your question, I think Ninty does not have any plan for TV based 3D at this moment. They just let the others have that piece of pie and went the other route which is 3DS. In the end consumer wins becasue we have the options.

And proud of it. Sony blew this generation with its 599 consoles and now the expensive 3d in da living room.

If like that then the Mods have to delete other posts as well as I've seen many posts on how hardcore their PS3/360 and Wii is for kiddies.
