I think they should just restart this series with another character. Or this franchise won't be able to gain more market share, for normal user that never play this game before they won't want to try it becoz they know nothing about the game back story which is more than 10years long running.
They should do it like GTA, or FF just start each round.

They already tried it in 4 and 5. No one liked the new characters except Akiyama.
The whole reason Y6 will primarily be about Kiryu (not saying there won't be other important characters, because there are) is because people were b!tching left and right with 4 and 5 having too little Kiryu presence.

Guess they should drop the series number all together and just yakuza xxx can already.
haha. But the offerings are pretty sweet. Heck, if the hostess card is a collection of the Hostesses Business cards that we can get from the game, that might be sweeter. I think I kinda had it with getting digital glossy cards. haha.
This is from the demo that was released a few days ago on JP and HK PSN. Game looks fantastic, but it's too bad that the team has decided to forget 60fps all together. This will be a jarring experience going from Y0 and Kiwami...
Also if there's one thing I really, really do not understand is... the non-critical cutscenes (sidequest interactions basically) are now very lifeless and dull. Just watch how Date and Kiryu talk to each other, their bodies barely moves an inch! Facial expressions are practically non existant too! This is a stark contrast to Yakuza 5! Really not sure why they went this route at all if they were going to voice most of the sidequests in the first place.
