^ Come to think about it, I also didn't come across the battery time for Ubuntu...
@MrSars, I believe its in the HP Support Assistant, try to search for it. Lastly, that unknown thing I think its quite common? Wait a few days and try again |

QUOTE(MrSars @ Jul 29 2010, 08:43 PM) Ok it seem like i cant find how to fill the form like the first time it show but the warranty check has respond and not unknown but expired on 2011-07-22. So our warranty is 1 year? Go to the HP service center, submit your netbook, ???? PROFIT!And i find the product information and it show serial no, product no and region is MY. Seem like it auto detect. If in my case perhaps maybe i want to send to warranty does they concern for my personal info that i didnt register, or they just need my product no and my serial no? Yeah its as easy as that, I too didn't register. And no, our warranty is 2 years |

Mean if there's problem, just go to the HP service center, they ask you what is your problem, tell them the problem, give them your netbook, and then they will inform you when it is ready after they service it.

Don't disable HP Support assistant, that's like the most important HP programs compare to others, and yeah, you can uninstall things like HP Quick sync, Clouddrive, navigator and etc.
And no, for me the speed is the same, and THERE WON'T BE FUNCTION DISAPPEAR. *How can there be anyway? lol* You get lots more useful function. |

just press f11 when you start up your netbook. and yes, can still use the recovery after you upgrade. Not format/installing though

QUOTE(dunkiedonuts @ Jul 30 2010, 06:40 PM) Hi peeps. Just got my hp mini from tmnet. Have a few questions: My battery bar just shows how much % left for my battery. How do I adjust it in a way such that I can know how long can the battery last? Next, whenever I on my computer, it will straightaway boot to the HpMediaSuit. How do I set it in such a way that when I on my netbook, it'll straightaway boot into win7? Thx! We don't know how to adjust time remaining info for the battery. And to set the HP Quick web, you need to go to Control Panel > HP Quick Web settings. |

According to the previous post, you can try out Wubi. My ubuntu for this netbook isn't perfect.
If you don't like it, too much trouble, can always uninstall =D |
