Whats the command

@win7 - Sorry , thats how it works. Thats why we have GPT. Sadly only OS that takes advantage (well two) are linux and umm OSX . Windows fails to see GPT (unless you're talking bout server/enterprise edition) . GPT allows you to dynamically resize and make new partitions from free space. You are not limited to 4 primary partitions. That means you can have like 15 OSes installed on one HDD !

mkdir -p /etc/Wireless/RT2860STA/

These 3 lines work for me. Just add in sudo in front of these lines will do.

Now I am concentrating on how to get ALSA to work. Already reinstalled Ubuntu 3 times rofl.

^ Not needed.

The drivers are in it, except that it is somehow not activated. So those commands will do, and also, I posted up a link to get the ALSA updated for 10.04 Lucid. So that the sound can be used.

All Ubuntu and Linux stuff should really be on it's own thread.

^ Since its all related to the HP Mini 110 troubleshooting, why not?

What other good topic you could suggest to talk in here? There's not much topic to talk about. So when this Ubuntu talk is down, there's a new topic by then.

We are all sticking to this thread by posting relevant talk on how Ubuntu fares up with the HP Mini 110.

Do you know how to use Hp Navigator ? they provide service similar to GPS, but using wireless technology. Skyhook wireless XPS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyhook_Wireless HP provide Navigator software but it comes with 30 days trail if accept it to use. Thinking of the wireless technology, I dont think this technology is available in Malaysia ?
Have you all tested this software Hp Navigator ?
