It depends on how fast is your SD card and how big is the capacity.
If it's only 2GB Class 2 ~ 4GB Class 4, you won't feel much differences.
Want the best performance, use a 4GB Class 10. Though the price will shock you.

So no need special Readyboost certified card or some such stuff?

Can I use a card reader for this function?

Readyboost is originally made for Laptops / notebooks / UMPC / netbooks. Because there's very little room for upgrade on these portable computers.
Yes you can use it for PC but for what? Just upgrade your PC lar. PC is made for upgrades, that's why people don't use readyboost for PC.

Gotta free up some RAM slot

Power up the netbook and immediately start pressing F10 repeatedly through the boot up (once a second will do).
If you see the Windows logo you missed the bios.
Shut down and repeat.

i heard that remove some HP softwares can help to make the Netbook become smoother, is it safe to remove all the HP softwares ??

i try connect this netbook to my bluetooth gps using garmin pc.but the garmin cannot detect my gps,already do secure pair n its paired with my netbook.what did i miss here?

and also, if i am really clean format the C drive, later how am i able to install back the Drivers?
