guys. my lenses have fungi.
they're all at Least 45 years old. i knw it's expensive for lenses with fungus to be repaired because of the high tech coatings on the elements. but have any of you repaired a fungus infested vintage lens? i need pointers. especially on the pricing.
I don't know how to clean old lenses.. as far as my limited knowledge knows, I take a flashgun and flash directly into the lenses. The heat will kill the fungi. QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jul 10 2010, 01:46 AM)
I still remember that time I went cameron highlands with my D40, was still new with it, I shot a closeup flowers with F11, all details no bokeh at all, but I don't think it's a bad photo =D
Owh found it ^^ Highlights overblown in the middle and too saturated XD
Nice picture, considering you were new at that time! D40 rocks. Owh found it ^^ Highlights overblown in the middle and too saturated XD
