I plan to get this F2.8 tammy is for low light usage, i.e pc fair lighting or worse! but u all say it hunts at low light.... means gotta discard this lens in da list....>.< better get a prime F1.8 since it's so

Sometimes when u wanna fit more things into the picture, where there is limited space, I bet I will regret for taking 50mm. 35mm is more like an all rounder. If wanna take full body portrait with 50mm, need quite a wide space for it!! Need not to say those 70-200 like celciuz la...

Tamron was a very good lens to replace kit lens, I never regret on it. In low light condition, you might need to change configuration before you shot. Since you own a flash gun, in low light might not a problem.

So hav you guys tried out the VC version vs the non VC version? any dramatic difference?
*
Nope, VC version is better for me to reduce vibration.

Ok... deleted it
The VC version can consider the newer batch?  tongue.gif

VC version consider is new line product, not new batch. You need to check the serial number located at the bottom of lens, greater number means newer batch.
