QUOTE(jloi @ Jul 13 2010, 11:58 PM) haha anyway..i been using nikon D60 for more than a year..very sayang to let go though i wanna upgrade d body T_T Keep it as a 2nd body.. Lol.. I did the same thing to my D40.. The color on D40 is too awesome to let go... So it still serve as my 2nd body.. Sometimes lazy to change lens.. Haha.. and the 3 point AF system is just so easy to control... Lol.. |

Hey guys... As promise yesterday to show you guys the differences...
Taken with AF-D 50mm f1.8 and Flash(TTL) As i can see here, the bokeh is kinda harsh.. And using the preset WB, this lens show cooler outcome.. And from my eyes, it's less sharper than the 35mm f1.8 Taken with AF-S 35mm f1.8 G DX and Flash(TTL) From the picture, i see that the bokeh is silkier comparing to the 50mm f1.8.. And by using the same WB, the outcome is warmer... Picture outcome looks sharper comparing to the 50mm f1.8 Feel free to give comment on both lens.... |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 14 2010, 06:32 PM) I'll just switch to my 16-35 settle haha! Well at least I can annoy with 16mm although effectively 24mm only lol~ Well.. As long as u get a good shot, doesn't matter.... Hahaha...I actually did that during D-Paradise. 70-200 kena block, so took 16-35 stand in front.. evil xD Or I just switch area then call the model to look at my side xD. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 14 2010, 06:53 PM) Now that I'm wondering, how do you judge the 50mm f/1.8 more harsh bokeh than 35mm f/1.8? It looks like the 50mm has more bokeh, but harsh or what how to see? @@. This is call smooth bokeh... U can see from my pic, Look at the D300s words on the box to compare the bokeh... and that is wat i mean by harsh...![]() 35mm f/4. Harsh? Soft? lol. |

QUOTE(ongdandy @ Jul 15 2010, 10:13 PM) If i am not wrong... it depends on the glass construction.. the more glass it has in the lens it will be heavier.. not to forget about the lens body construction as well... some solid lens like 17-55 f2.8, 14-24 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8 and all those Nikon Gold Ringed Lenses are solidly built with magnesium alloy body is heavier comparing to those normal lens(more plasticky).. |
