Guys, shouldnt we take into consideration that the buyer is a newbie and has no experience in camera?

Taking that into consideration, D90 might not be such a good choice. Here is my thoughts

1. D90 has lots of function, but for a newb, this my overwhelm them considering that it is not as beginner friendly as a D5k or D3k or a D60.

2. With overwhelming feature, the newb might not be able to fully utilize the cam and end up just using full auto to bypass the problem.

3. D90 might have a replacement soon, why buy a new D90 now when you can invest on an old second hand D60, D40 or D3k and then learn how to utilize some of the normal function first. Get the new D90 when it is out!

4. No built in motor is not a big issue. It only means that there are 2 or 3 lens that cannot auto focus. Just don't buy those lens or learn to manual focus lah!

5. I played with D60 and just got a D90, my personal experience is that, if you do not have the basic to back it up, when you played with the higher spec camera D90, you won't know how to fully utilize the cam!
It's like, you purchased a ferrari but you don't even have license or know how to drive yet!

6. Save the money on beginner cam first. Invest on lens after knowing what type of photo you like and excel in taking, invest on a D90 or D300 after you are comfortable with photography.

Nothing wrong with newbie wanna use D3s or anything, but will be a bit overwhelmed lor...

Just want to ask, 11 focus point of camera like D3000 with prime lens possible take a picture as below ? Or more focus point of camera can take advantage in this aspect?!

Lol.... Even camera like D40 with 3 focus point can do it.. It's just about how u control ur camera not the focus point..

Usually more focus point allow us to have a better control which part of the picture should be in focus.

I've problem when snap a photo with more than 1 ppl, sometime either 1 of them is OOF although the focus point option chose automatically determine.
