Frankly, no DSLR is tough to use nowadays. There's A, S mode anyways! What makes a D3s tougher to use than a D3k? Well if you want to use the scene modes, might as well shoot with pns.

Its tougher to use, if you have no basic in the first place.

I started photography with a D90. I find D90 easier to use than D3k/D60/D5000. And I love the layout of D300/D700/D3/D3s! Much nicer and easier to use than D90.

That's so true. Once I get used to D90, I can't afford to turn back to D3k/D40. I blur blur dunno how to use my friend's D3k, too used to D90's buttons. But I don't have any friends using D300 and above so I can't try using it, at BTS not enough time to learn =D
*
The higher range ones damn nice xD D300/D700 exactly the same. D3 and above all got even more buttons biggrin.gif

already cheap, still can drop ar? hmm.. why canon's so cheap ah? market only RM300 compared to nikon RM380? somore theirs got built-in motor.
*
Have you held theirs? The build is really crappy. It is using a plastic mount, the Nikkor is using metal mount.

oh ic.. no wonder so cheap, plastic... yup, nikon's are solid all the wayyyyyy!
*
Yes, the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D is more solid than the Canon's offering.

Huh.. Deep anger I sense here...

I always wondered why Canon mount are cheaper than Nikon. When i was searching for 50mm in pg, the price i get are like. Sky and Land for Canon vs Nikon.

That said, I think the price in Penang are cheaper compared to KL but don't expect to haggle much. The price is fixed.
*
Yeah, price in Penang is cheaper than KL. I wonder why?

About the Canon and Nikon 50mm differences, yes the mount one is plastic another is metal. Go for metal anytime because plastic mount can break! Risk of breaking is there compared to metal mount.

BREAK!? Wait. Is all canon mount plastic or just select few? I never really look closely at my Bro's canon.

I think the prices in Penang is cheaper due to its location? Near a port ? More old ppl shops?

Some of the camera shops in Penang Road are ancient and would give street photographer wetness if they see it.

That said, one thing bout Penang shop is that, the price is firm but it can be said that it will be cheaper than KL anytime without even haggling.  cool.gif

I'm referring to their 50mm f/1.8. Not all their lens are plastic mount, their kit lens probably is. But hey, the D90 kit 18-105 is plastic mount after all. Their pro lens and all of course are metal mount just like Nikon's.

There's a patent for a 50mm f/1.2 lens according to nikonrumours.com, so there's chances of it being released.

I use a Demb Flash Diffuser, meaning my shots are always bouncing to my reflector.

i only used my fake Demb for 2-3 times only, very lazy to put it on to use, lol
i prefer use double diffuser (built-in wide diffuser + dome diffuser)
then set flash power manually, often quite low
*
DFD so far working very well for me tongue.gif, so no complaints xD. After all I only use the flash as a fill.
