Can you guys answer me this simple question ? How do you guys make the colors in your photo's so wonderful ? Play with saturation or white balance ? Just take fruitie's picture for example, the green looked so green, the red looked so red.

QUOTE(waggygee @ Sep 18 2010, 07:28 PM) I think it depends on the picture, you can try the Vibrance slider (in photoshop or lightroom, im not sure if other software have) or adding some contrast i think Does these have anything to do with saturation ?

QUOTE(waggygee @ Sep 18 2010, 08:29 PM) yea, i think so. vibrance is almost like saturation but slightly different, hard to explain. best you just experiment with those or wait for one of the gurus here to answer you (FYI, Im just a n00b here) Thanks ! I've played Vibrance and saturation in PS already. Both do quite similar jobs. QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 19 2010, 12:10 AM) I did a bit settings to my camera, added the contrast and saturation. Then I only use the freeware Photoscape to make some adjustments to the saturation and contrast. Thanks! What's the difference between setting it on your camera then set it on the software ? And what's the limit of saturation for a photo ? Afraid of going oversaturated.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 19 2010, 12:54 PM) There are situations that oversaturated photos are not needed so I try not to overcook it in my camera settings and only do minor tweaking on the software. I see, thanks all. EDIT : BTW fruitie, how much you get your industry disgrace ? This post has been edited by fabianz03: Sep 19 2010, 01:04 PM

The camo version is RM 89 and it is not as pictured. Okay, I'll check out others. ;D Thanks ! The shutter speed you used for the panning is too slow... I'll use faster shutter speeds to reduce handshake and make the panning smoother.

Camera : Nikon D90 Lens : 50mm F/1.8 Taken at F/1.8 1/4000s ISO 3200
Nice ! You might wanna lower the ISO abit. 1/4000sec too fast. I'd rather sacrifice lower shutter speeds than a noisy image.
