QUOTE(alex82 @ Jul 18 2010, 09:02 PM) the website did say "if you are planning to buy a boxed copy from a retail store, this is not for you!" Yes, you are right! You are able to download the 7GB (huge file) now and activate at 27th july 2010.http://beta-sea.battle.net/en/info/digital-purchase so i dont think the digital download copy can be activate using a retail copy serial/cdkey |

I don't think so you need to have internet connection for single play, you only need to authenticate it the first time online and the rest you can play offline.
I found this information in http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topic...260776&sid=5000 Added on July 18, 2010, 9:56 pm QUOTE(shumaky @ Jul 18 2010, 09:52 PM) I am getting the SEA to avoid lag, the server will be in singapore and I think most Malaysian will opt for SEA version. Is all depend on your preference ...This post has been edited by vaio_me: Jul 18 2010, 09:56 PM |

QUOTE(sixseven @ Jul 18 2010, 10:22 PM) Nope, the subscription based is only in Korea and Russia if I am not mistaken. The reason why the price of a standard copy of starcraft II is pricey (RM248) is due to the cost of setting up the server. It's free and unlimited to play in battle.net. |

ok 1st im not actually know much thing bout SC2.
and CE is too much for me. would like to have standard version. here's some few question if anybody like to answer. -standard how much? South East Asia (SEA) version. plan to buy 1. Range from RM230 - RM248 (cheaper price not from retail but COD seller) -is it true Blizzard make Asia server so we can okay with smooth ping/latency. I am not sure, just read the gameaxis july version. Probably yes, but the cost is high to setup the server in singapore and the sc2 price hike up because of this. -who should i can contact here to buy one. I am not sure. I bought from youbeli. -thx for help ;D This post has been edited by vaio_me: Jul 19 2010, 03:34 PM |

QUOTE(diehard1979 @ Jul 22 2010, 03:02 PM) This latest battlenet got showing our ping for other to see? either in number or in red, yellow, green color? Definitely that would happened, you don't want a person to drag the game and get disconnect halfway and spoil the fun.If it got showing the ping out, then they may boot us from their game room. In beta maybe not much player so they never do that, but after release, I think some player will simply kick those ping than more than 100ms from them. |
