I don't think so you need to have internet connection for single play, you only need to authenticate it the first time online and the rest you can play offline.

Nope, the subscription based is only in Korea and Russia if I am not mistaken. The reason why the price of a standard copy of starcraft II is pricey (RM248) is due to the cost of setting up the server. It's free and unlimited to play in battle.net.

I think the price is ranging from RM230 to RM248 for the SEA standard copy.

Yes, CE left the US version. There are only 5 units for SEA version (Sold Out).

ok 1st im not actually know much thing bout SC2.
and CE is too much for me. would like to have standard version.
here's some few question if anybody like to answer.

-standard how much? South East Asia (SEA) version. plan to buy 1.
Range from RM230 - RM248 (cheaper price not from retail but COD seller)

-is it true Blizzard make Asia server so we can okay with smooth ping/latency.
I am not sure, just read the gameaxis july version. Probably yes, but the cost is high to setup the server in singapore and the sc2 price hike up because of this.

-who should i can contact here to buy one.

Yes, is it RM180 only. Worth consider if it that price without the box.

You have the id and password right upon activate using the cd key. You can always download again and login...

Wah...so nice got pre-order card. May I know where you pre-order your item?

It will still connect to server ... that's what server do to transmit data between 2 clients and collecting data to store in server.

Definitely that would happened, you don't want a person to drag the game and get disconnect halfway and spoil the fun.
