QUOTE(Felix123 @ Jul 23 2010, 08:40 PM) Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand StarCraft® II to Include North American Battle.net® Access oh yeah that was an awesome new indeed !! We’re pleased to announce that all players who purchase the Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand version of StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™ will also have the option of playing on North American servers following the launch. While we still encourage gamers to play on the local servers, which will offer lower latency and more action during peak hours, we recognize that many players have longstanding friendships and rivalries with North American players, and would like to continue playing with them. Because of this, we're giving Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand gamers access to both regions' servers, so they can choose where they'd prefer to play. This additional access will go into effect as soon as possible. Our intention is to make it available within 60 days of launch -- at that time, players with a copy of the Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand version of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will automatically gain the option to download the North American version of the game client through Battle.net®. You can check out the FAQ for more information, and we’ll have additional details to share about acquiring the North American client in the near future on our Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand community site. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=1...127906680581476 |

QUOTE(-ZeN- @ Jul 24 2010, 08:27 PM) We are all stuck la, cant install yet for sure. deng so jelous that you already got the copy before even the lunching date. I think i only able to get my copy begining of agust as beli.com say they can only get it around 30th july and + roughly postage to my place take a day or 2. Cant wait, think i gonna be zombie during wednesday working hour. Thinking of sleeping on Tuesday after work, then before midnight wake up install and so on play around awhile, then only sleep for a while then go work. Wednesday night gonna be super pack, lol, but i gonna finish the campaign 1st. Cant wait to know about the story. The mini quick start from the box is quite informative on the back story. |

QUOTE(LostWanderer @ Jul 24 2010, 09:42 PM) SEA game edition will have the privilege of getting the game to connect internationally whereas the US version will need to buy different versions to play elsewhere...so, that's the reasoning of it being a little higher than what the US ppl are paying for... err i think that is not the reason behind this as BIZ only announce this few day before the release date. As the price already stated there a month ago. I think is the cost of setting up the server + Tax from our Gov which cost it price higher than the US version. |

QUOTE(aaronwee @ Jul 25 2010, 01:41 AM) perhaps the other way round as well nah i don't think they are stupid enough to give us 2 copy. (digital and retail box) Added on July 25, 2010, 1:54 am wonder if this will work for SEA version: http://us.battle.net/en/info/digital-purchase if yes... then Singapore suppliers can actually just sell the CD keys and ship the physically box later... so all buyers can enjoy SC2 on release day!!!
