Loaded up 1000 on NBG seeing it's trending upwards. Hopefully it'll hit $3 and I'll sell and make a nifty profit.
MEA is trending up as expected. Hope it hits $4

I'm more of a small caps trader. Looking at good solid small caps companies who were hit hard by the financial crisis but still maintaining a good cash flow and revenue.
I've been trading ALY, MEA, GLBL just to name a few. MEA mainly deals with scrap metals which is a big business in the States and is regularly churning up profits despite the economic downturn. |

Sold off MEA at $4. Made a nifty 30% profit there in 2 weeks.
HNR is up 15% today. Was up 14% yesterday. We'll see if it hits the $11 range tonight. Highest it's ever been since March 09. Small caps stocks are really raging on tonight. |

Looking for the next big bear rally to buy into a couple of oil exploration companies hit by the BP scandal.

QUOTE(honglun @ Sep 29 2010, 10:32 PM) I wonder C, BAC and FAS will rebound? ANybody have any idea? I'm locked in at 4.54$, 18.72$ and 26.50$ respectively. These stocks r killing my portfolio. Ouch. Depends if you're a Buy and Hold person. I'd let FAS go if I were you but the others you can hold. Financials will rebound by year's end. |

3X ETFs like FAS and FAZ are a hedging ETF with an uncommon trading pattern which trends downwards over time despite following market sentiments. There are lots of articles explaining this phenomenon. (Do a google search)

Anyone experience this before? Did you email Zecco with a copy of your TT when you transferred the money? I usually email MBT a copy of my TT after I've transferred for their reference.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sold off all my positions on HNR yesterday at 10.50. DJIA seems like it's seeing some resistance pre-1100 level. Lets hope it takes a nose dive.

QUOTE(Hansel @ Nov 3 2010, 03:20 PM) To each his/her own, my friends, specific objectives are in-place by different folks for punting or for growing money steadily, depending on asset allocation strategy, leading to selected instruments and sometimes on mood too. Slow growth eh? Google and Apple stocks are in for the long run. There are loads of good dividend stocks out there better than BRK.B that pays up to 10-14% p.a. ie CIM, Annaly. |

Loaded up on some non-halal stock (FEED) and added more position on MU. Nice volatility btw. Made my heart race as if I was on a rollercoaster.

Buffet lost quite alot of $$$ during the tech bubble burst of 2001 so perhaps he's sticking to industries he's familiar with.

I would like to mention no one in the business world had a vision like Eric Schmidt, not even the great old Steve Jobs IMHO from turning a search engine into an advertising machine and now a tech monster in under 10 years.
I guess WB overlooked this. |
