QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jan 11 2011, 01:41 AM) I like to see BAC comes all back down to 13.50 to fill that gap. My buy queue ready. Update:Dow 11637.45 -37.31 -0.31%Nasdaq 2707.80 +4.63 +0.17%S&P500 1269.75 -1.75 -0.14%Market came back after big red in the early trading hours but still less than last week closing price. LVS up nicely in a down market! My bullet is ready for re-enter but seems it recover slightly yesterday. $13.50 looks a bit distance now unless if there's some correction going on. Thinking of entering BGP for some gorenging tonight if can squeeze few cents lower.

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 13 2011, 08:55 AM) we followed WB. Play the stock that you're familiar with. Even 1 or 2. Put maximum 10 counters, that could be your GEM. Learn inside out of the company and its profile. Its like you are having 5 girlfriends. Hard to take care of all of em, rite? So, you narrow down to 2 best girls. Then you decide which one is for you! So if I already have a wife and opt to look for a new gf, will this theory works? lol...j/k. Anyway BAC has been steadily reach $15, looks like the plan for re-entering will takes time to materialise. A bit regret letting it go when this counter seems got the pushing power.

I can see my banking stocks taking the worse hit.
Counter like AIG and C are dropping like there's no tomorrow. Within 5 days, AIG has lost $10 of it's value. Deeply regret not selling it off when touching $60. Luckily I sold off my BAC earlier.

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jan 22 2011, 02:57 AM) Yes, I did.. Zecco is good value for someone who wanted to park $25k and who has less than 10 trades per month. Not for me though. My averages trades run into hundreds/month. By the way, I found MBtrading is only charging my $1 per trade, per 100 units of any stocks. I dunno why, I thought I was going to be charged a min flat rate of $4.99 per transaction. I guess I'm not telling if they're not asking. $1 per 100 units> Is that means $10 per 1000 shares? Sorry, a bit confusing here bro..

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jan 25 2011, 01:26 AM) I prefer DANG for speculative China play in ECommerce sector. But, I will wait to see where Chinese market will bottom out first during this correction. Do you think it's risky putting money into these company especially when it's owned by Chinese? Just wish my rotational play will not turn into another GM.

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 25 2011, 09:43 AM) DANG and YOKU is really --- roller coaster. One day down, next up or up then down or down then up. Aiyo. My choice NVDA and MU running wild. Sold both 2 weeks back via trailing stop. NVDA break 24$ (sold at 19) and MU break $10 (Sold at 9.60) I entered GM on listing day, then managed to sell at no profit. Sell at no profit? Why is that so? My unfortunate event is that I entered the "Bad GM", not the "Good GM" which the price now is cheaper than my house toilet paper. Until today I still swear this company for making me total loss no thanks to dirty tricks by US govt to create 2 companies to eat into shareholder $$$.

I'm targetting MGM but seems this stock remain strong and firm. Hope it can reach $13.xx mark so that will collecting some for medium term investment. BAC seems a bit attractive now given the current price correction after reported write-off for some of the bad assets.

I see that techie stocks has been up a lot recently. Could be too late for me to go in right now but anyway might worth to take another look if there's correction for these few counters.
Thinking to putting some money in AMD but not sure if it's a good choice. Anyone can comment?

Aiming right now at MGM, BAC and probably C.
Might consider to put some money into AMD.

Tonight DJ should be bearish and in red zone. Perhaps time to standby the bullet for re-entering.

Thought of some correction for this week so can re-enter but looks like my plan need to delayed slightly as the market went opposite as what I hope. Want to put some money into YOKU for short-term ride but looks like I miss the boat now.

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Feb 2 2011, 09:43 AM) YOKU and DANG daily range is about $1.20, so no worries, once market correction in place again prior to the employment news, which is just around the corner. Strong US market is due to commodities and banking sector. Take a close look at C vs BAC. BAC +4% but C just merely move 1.5%. Bro, you have any news on the upcoming employment rate? Will it be getting worse or improve?

LVS looks quite attractive after the Fri downtrend..perhaps can pick-up some for intra-day gain. Another one which I can't managed to get last Fri is MGM which is so close (queue @ $14.70 and it hit low of $14.72).

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Feb 7 2011, 10:12 PM) Of course LVS now is more attractive after the big puke fest last week. LVS now going to trade sideways and consolidate. I'm going to sell some covered calls here with my remaining 400 shrs to make some money while I wait for this thing to move back up. BTW, MGM is expected to announce earnings next week. Still no profit yet but expected to lose less (-22c estimate). UBS has a price target of $15 for MGM. so it will suffering same fate as LVS? wondering if I need to hold until next week or just buy it tonight.
