Hi guys,
I have a little question to ask u guys.I'm currently using pc to play my games(TF2,MW2,BC2 etc). But i am thinking of playing games on xbox 360 (Halo,GoW).
My question is,is it hard to move from the usual mouse n keyboard combo to the xbox 360 controller??

Thx smile.gif

to me it was, and is still, real hard. but some people it comes naturally. i prefer mouse and keyboard anytime. but its still fun. after a while u get use to it and don't think so much about the freaking long learning curve u had endured.

FPS on 360 controller is not as accurate as mouse/keyboard combo. but it sure is fun to try out! tongue.gif u'll get used to it after couple of hours of playing.. nod.gif

yeep thats true, OK 1st time play shooter games on console is PS2.. thats really sucks and I didn't master it.. Ok then I bought Xbox360, the controller really improve than the PS2.. So u have to keep pratice and practice and one day, shooting using controller is not your problem anymore mey...

Or,
maybe i can take the easy way out biggrin.gif

I saw this http://cgi.ebay.com.my/Bannco-Scorch-Wirel...=item2c543feb8e

Maybe i can use it.
Anyways, the real reason i wanted the xbox 360 is that people say playing online on the xbox 360 is easier than on pc because more people are on xbox live.
For example matchmaking i heard is much faster on the Xbox than PC as to say MW2.

What are you guys opinion?should i give console a shot or just stick to gaming on my pc??

for MW2 on pc is kinda slow compare to xbox, the worse is on pc ppl uses texture hack so that they can see ppl far away with team mate in blue texture enemy as red texture...they also remove all trees & object that blocks view..

thats also y there is lesser ppl playing on pc now. as well as the boycott last time?

mw2 plague with aimbot.

controller need more effort to aim unlike the pc.

+ NO Rambo players
+ ppl dont die too quickly in mp match (cheap death/kills)
+- cant make 180 turns and give a headshot for the guy who took so much effort of actually trying to knife u behind

- harder to aim expecially if u focusing ur fire on 2 -3 targets

u meant purchasing games? its quite plentiful and u can get them from GH, might cost slightly more for compare to pc, (again depend on titles/publisher) EA - BC2 (PC) $120 - BC2 (x360) $140. Activision - MW2 both cost the same. other than taht X360 games market value depreciate slower than pc.

For BC2 is better to get the pc version (32players) over (24 players)

I'm also thinking of making a switch to consoles after my gpu died, and all the pc games I love and more are on consoles and I already own a 360 pad for windows which I use to control everything even windows. I think even for fps it's okay, I've tried it

2nd that. It's easier to play with mouse..etc more wins. But it's more challenging and fun with the controllers playing FPS! And i think Gears of War is just great with the controller!

I have played a fair amount of FPS on xbox360 and I got used to it. And when I tried playing Killzone 2 on PS3, I had a tough time aiming properly. I probably need to adjust the analogue stick sensitivity. But anyone experienced this before?

Trust me, swithin to XBOX 360 worth everything!

I was a PC gamer for 10Years++, After Switching to console for like 3 months, i really felt the worth of playing games. Easy, Simple, n FUn.

Same controller, standard settings, excellence graphics in FULL HD. and the most important, its the FUN & ENJOYMENT!

Give a try, u wil never regret it. Its not as troublesome as PC gaming.

i dont know which part of his replies got you thinking of "piracy", all he mean as in troublesome could also mean u save yr time doing installation on pc. u dont need to have big HDD space, a good display card to handle the game or a bigger LCD than the house LCDTV to enjoy gaming. he probably likes throwing the disc in & start playing whenever.

Probably is, but i guess people play those type of games on the pc, and the graphics card requirement for those games are usually low (hence no need to buy expensive cards). I switched to xbox to save money on hardware. Fed up of continually upgrading my pc to play the latest shooters. Almost all my games are 2nd hand (and much cheaper than pc versions), and I wait for deals on play-asia.

2 of the RTS in XBOX360 which is HALO Wars & C&C Red Alert 4 I known of using a completely different control scheme which is controller friendly and given some time you might be able to somehow control the game more efficiently.

You may want to watch youtube for those gameplay

FPS for consoles easier to play than those on th pc because of autoaim. That's why its easier to play with the gamepad on the console. But on the pc, well good luck. FPS=Mouse and keyboard. I don't see why you have to downgrade.

you will feel bit slower to aim compared to mouse on PC... getting used to takes times a bit.. but some games like strategy games are best on PC...
