Beanster: It is the GOTY version so you're getting 25 dollars worth of DLCs in addition to it. It's pretty worth it if you ask me. Since I bought it at the same price earlier anyways.

Dude. You mentioned that it isn't worth it. I'm just mentioning why I think it's worth it. Doesn't matter if you're a student or not really. Bankrates are around 3.2 at the moment. 80 bucks for a full length game and its DLCs are pretty much worth it IMO.

On a side note. I'm having a lot of troubles getting the Stalker Complete Mod 1.44.exe It keeps stopping and resuming is not supported. Anybody with a torrent or an alternate link?

Ashx. You need to pay to top up that card. And you need to go through the registration process yourself. All I need to do if I wanted a regionlocked game that I couldn't get myself now is just contact Deimos and transfer my funds over. IMO that's a lot more convenient.

Recettear actually got the attention of the US import audience last time. When I saw it on Steam I was pleasantly surprised that someone actually took on the task of localizing it.

Blade Kitten is not made in Japan. They're the ones that made Viva Pinata: Party Animals and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. They announced Blade Kitten quite awhile ago. Not very interesting though.

Wateva: I have the same problems, leaving steam idle makes it impossible to launch games. I can't even launch indie games when it happens.

You buy 100 dollars credit from them while they do not have to provide any content for that 100 dollars until called for. Hence they will have extra capital to do whatever that they want to do with the extra money until they need to provide you with the software.

Imagine if the 300k daily userbase have 10 dollars in their wallets just sitting there.

That's 3 million dollars in Steam's pocket, up for any kind of investment they so choose. Of course this is the raw maths without factoring in the cost of the service and everything, but it's still pretty amazing to use such a system.
