Was trying to buy Killing Floor. But for some reason, the online transaction can't go through, either directly through my credit card or paypal.

I've done other online transactions in the past, but this is the first time I'm going through Steam. Anyone have any idea?

I've called the bank, and everything seems to be in order.

What's the error message? Is it regarding your credit card being declined due to on-hold issue? If yes, you can either wait a few days or submit a support request to Steam.
Yeah, the hold on issue. What's up with that?

Funny thing is... when Steam was first introduced, a whole lot of people were not happy about it.

When HL2 rolled in, Steam was actually pretty damned decent already. During the CS 1.6 launch was when it was really really shit.

Yep. I first installed Steam for Condition Zero, I think.

Oh btw, if I bought Modern Warfare 2 retail (but the copy still ties in with Steam anyway) can I buy the DLC off Steam? I'm asking this coz for Borderlands, Steam DLCs won't work with retail copies.

Nation Red looks like Alien Breed or Alien Swarm with zombies. And graphics looks really good for an indie title. Not sure if it's fun or not. But it's really tempting.

Nation Red is pretty mindless fun. Similar to Boxhead Zombie game.

I played a jack sparrowed version of Nation Red way back when it was first released. Rather mediocre.
How much has it improved since?

LOL. Indie Developers also wanna jack sparrow. Kesian. Anyway, I think they added Co-Op and Barricade mode.
No story, nothing meaning. Just click and shoot. Steam Promos is ruining my life!!!! aaargh...

ME2 is still expensive even after 50% discount at 19.99 because ...

the DLCs alone cost more than RM100 ...

Actually, you don't really need to buy all the DLCs. IMHO, the only DLCs worth getting are:

1. Lair of the Shadow Broker (really, really awesome)
2. Kasumi's Stolen Memory

And you'll already got some basic DLCs for free anyway...
