Two things make JC2 the best sandbox (Keyword!) game ever:
The grapple hook + Unlimited parachutes.

I tried the demo... As far as music games goes, one of the weaker ones. The issue I have is that the game can't really read beats properly (Which makes getting high scores really REALLY hard).

It is a fun game though... if only they fix the music reading engine or watchamacallit.

When HL2 rolled in, Steam was actually pretty damned decent already. During the CS 1.6 launch was when it was really really shit.

I know that if I leave Steam idle for awhile and then I try to play a game, it will be the same as trying to start up Steam for the first time.

So usually, if I notice a game takes awhile to startup because I left Steam idling for too long, I just restart Steam and it loads up just fine.

That being said, I don't have the usual Steam connection snafus that you guys have, so for the most part, I don't have to go through the same crap that you guys do, so that's why I'm fine with it.

Investments, huh.. That makes sense, so Steam Wallet makes Steam like a bank. But I cant really appreciate them using our money for investments, that kind of shit is probably one of the reason for the economic crisis.
True. I dont mean anything bad when I said that.

No, I think he meant ppl can treat Steam Wallet as a way to "invest" in Steam (Which really isn't investing since its like you're providing temporary "free" capital them)

Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what would be the benefit of this system other than allowing Steam users the ability to kinda monitor their purchases. Its not a money gouging scheme though since its using real currency instead of MS/Bioware magic points which is a good thing.

Still, inb4 where is mai episode 3?!?!?

There's few way to "invest" in Steam, if you are business minded, you should have captured what I'm about to tell anyway, and yeah, no doubt it will either benefits you or you make losses (the basic rules of investment anyway)

So for those who doesn't have Paypal, Credit Card or Debit card, you could always purchase Steam Wallet currency, which I assume it will be in USD when the conversion is low, last I check is RM3.18 = 1 USD

So let's say if you buy 100 USD when it's weak, lets say RM3.10, you already earned RM0.08 per USD by now. Those who are offering services will earn even more.

Well, it's still a risk thou, since it's a form of "investment"

Actually, what you just described is pretty much the equivalent of taking advantage of a "sale" laugh.gif

IINM, from Faces of War onwards (Or maybe in the Men of War demo?), your soldiers would kinda automatically pick up fallen weapons and ammo, so you didn't need that much micro.

I played the original Soldiers, which had none of this handholding... Plus, they were mean to you from the beginning. The german campaign involved you controlling a squad of TIGER tanks... and in the 2nd mission, as you're about to take a town, the one and only Tiger your given breaks down in the middle of a fight... Leaving you with just a refurbished allied tank and 5 men...

SERIOUSLY, it was like
"Oh yeah we gots a Tiger! We's gonna pwns some nubs!"

and then

"WTF, it caught fire!"

leaving you with

"Crap, now we gotsa pwns some nubz with their nubish tanks... I hate this army"

That reminds me, I actually got this game from GG awhile back, but totally forgot about it.

One of my most memorable missions from Soldiers was the UK one where you had to infiltrate an enemy coastal base and destroy some guns (Basically, the same as the Guns of Navarro but without any women)...

And also another British one where you had to infiltrate a german occupied city, lug around MG42s to mow down hundreds, save a French spy and try to run in a derelict truck...

And that other Russian one where you had to defend a spot from an oncoming onslaught of German panzers and whatnot with just a bunch of tank destroyers...

Or placing a sniper on a water tower to kill of enemy soldiers from running up to tanks and throwing AT grenades at them... All the while hoping no enemy tank can see him...

...

I need to get MoW
