Guys, would it work if I copy my entire Steam folder over to my friend's PC in M'sia (excluding the steamapp folder)? He still can't get his Steam running so far.

It works for me yesterday, i juz copy all files excluding d steamapp folder and my fren can get d steam run directly...also use hotspot shield if ur fren still cant connect to server even using ur files.

Thanks, will do so then. I suggested hotspot to him also but I think he don't really understand what I was talking about, so probably just do it manually for him.

Hey I tried hotspot shield before, I was able to connect, but I couldn't access my router's web interface (192.168.1.1). What's up with that?

The instruction to use hotspot is once u able to connect, turn it off...tats wat i did n i nvr try to access my router web wit turning on d hotspot..
and it seems tat i only be able to login to steam wit using hotspot..dunno y..tm really sux..nvr had this b4 at kampar ....
btw, which dl speed display is d true 1 in steam? coz if view at Libary --> games, it showing 400kbps+ and in d download it show 120kbps+....(using 1mb)
so i was quite blur..

Rules of thumb: The slower speed is always the accurate readings.

Paradox sale in steam is kinda limited in terms of selection as compared to GG.

guys is lead and gold worth to get? any local or asian server in it? i dont want to buy a games to play in us server or taiwan..

If not mistaken, The ones that's has most Asian servers are games like TF2,BC2, L4D series, MW2?, i even had some fun with some LYN's or MY/SG servers for Killing floors. Other than that, are random pickup games that you barely can fill a server.

Seriously, 100-200 ms still very much playable. I don't see why you really care about <100 ms ping unless you're some super tournament player.

I wonder why Razor2:Hidden Skies game doesn't have thumbnail icon? something error with my steam?

i have the following games already excecpt for mw2 and bc2. i want to try l&g but it seems no asians are playing. as i know the community is so little that not exceed 50 players playing now.

That's the thing, you answered yourself You know there're barely anyone playing it. You have to decide ehhehe. Good price, within your budget and stop fretting about anyone playing. Or... when in doubt. Don't buy you DO have more games than you have time to play no?
