But without optical, how can the AVR separate the sound channels? The only HDMI connection o the amp is from TV, not the POHD itself..

never updated for a long while maybe few mths

i updated firmware to latest one but still cant play

new MKV files which i never played on POHD b4 but i can play the said MKV file on the pc.......

Most of Media players can since most using the same series of Realtek or Sigma chipsets

Anyway as far as latest FW 3875 (Big POHD) is concerend , BD.ISO now got playback issues, stuttering and sound breakup after a few minutes of playing (varies with diff titles). Previous FW 2901 didn't have issues with BD.ISO.

Hope they fix it in next FW.

box bro. i bundled my Mini with acryan wifi dongle but i cant seem to stream 1080p movies thru wifi. is there any setting that i hv to adjust?

tat means theres no way i can ever stream full hd movie over the air rite?hmm then wats the point of having wireless N router n ACRyan dongle. isit juz for transferring datas?

did u unzip the file n put it on root of the thumbdrive?

I upgraded to new firmware yesterday. Not much changes on the GUI itself. I able to watch some of the mkv files which previously failed and the the seek function during playback is working again.

im not looking for something high end, im just looking for something that works without hassle, frankly with all the media players avaialble now in the market, i would expect ac ryan would establish themselves better

i hope the new players would serve future customers better, cos i aint gonna be one of em

Hi pal, it seems that something wrong either with hard disk or files. Because we hv tested a lot of mkv files, even original bluray ripped files, POHD play smoothly. Can u double check what go wrong? We are here to help u pal.
