i'm not sure what price is correct anymore...
last week, i saw one shop's wdpassport 500gb priced at rm280
my fren bought a wdpassport 750gb just 3 wks ago, usb3.0 at rm250.
what's going on?!!

also, do more cleanup, delete dead, unwanted files.
every time i do that to my total 4tb, i find 100gb freed up!

Hard disk price is going down. Pls ask few shops and u will get a better price. Still got some shops selling higher price. May be is their old stock which in high price when stocked in.

Now I can play AirAttack thru Veolo to my 42" Plasma TV, really fantastic. Of course, a lot of HK, TW and Korean TV series in Le.TV as well. Like 'When Heaven Burn' already can see. CZone at Digital Mall was selling at RM399 + FOC 8Gb thumbdrive. Dunno if they still have stock

I plan to get a Playon!HD Essential as a standalone media player. Most of my video files are MKV and AVI for movie, RMVB for animation. Can it passthrough DTS-HDMA and Dolby TrueHD to AV receiver?

PlayOn!HD Essential only support up to DTS when passthrough to AV Receiver. For DTS-HDMA, you should go for PlayOn!HD 2 or PlayOn!HD Mini 2.

So, DTS-HDMA will downmix to stereo or downmix to DTS??

Can these connection work?
PlayOn!HD Essential --> HDMI --> AV receiver (Onkyo)--> HDMI --> LCD

What's the current price range of PlayOn!HD 2 and PlayOn!HD Mini 2. Thank you.

That connection will work fine. It will downmix to DTS. Make sure you set the HDMI Audio to Passthrough.

Thanks a lot. Good to hear that it downmix to DTS, then fine for me because not much my movies in DTS-HDMA.
I think I will stick to PlayOn!HD Essential.
