there's a very good chances MS is gonna to bring in Official MY Xbox360 Slim
They are targeting to release it by end of this year if everything goes smoothly

the news is from the same person told me last time Courts is going to sell xbox360 in MY

but no news on MY Live! service thou... mostly likely even if there's official MY set, we still gonna use SG Live! service.

From what i know its not that simple. iirc, the master distributor has to park a X/XX million guarantee with msft and have to commit to quite a large quantity of stocks monthly.

i honestly think it would take a very brave (or clever) disti or at least one with a lot of money to burn to do xbox now in MY. there are so many issues to consider. for one the stock commitment is a big factor. i dont know if you know but its an open secret that most of the SG xbox do not end up being sold in SG.

and then there things like the 10%+10% duty, piracy/modding, channels, warranty/after sales service. all this things need a lot of investment.

official release date for xbox360 slim elite 250GB - Singapore Edition would be 18th July 2010 , by the time 22nd or 25 July stock will be available already , depends on SG suppliers

you can create 2 gamertag , 1 for malaysia and 1 for singapore , but of course u need just one console ... hehe
