QUOTE(brianccg @ Dec 9 2011, 03:53 PM) Everyone going for investment, is tht really worth investment? Well, its fairly early to judge anything but looking at what is being proposed - the project does seem exciting enough. With the backup of the GLCs that are involved in the whole project - you can rest be assured that it won't stall or be delayed....

QUOTE(Supreme1394 @ Dec 16 2011, 11:49 PM) Aiya ...some people just think that a few kilometers more is a no no to buy a home but if you think how much they save in terms of a few hundred thousands to pay for a new home in say, Bandar Seri Coalfields but only need to travel a few more km. To a LRT station, I would buy a house in Bandar Seri Coalfields. We bought a Semi-D there. The price of a Semi- D in Subang Bestari is more than a million wo. And a bit smaller somemore brother! Worry about extra on petrol for traveling? We think of how much more we can earn interest thru FD for the $$ we saved over a lifetime! Yala... more time to and fro on the road and less for home. But if your bosses slave you daily, you will somehow do OT and come home late be it anywhere u stay. How much did the Semi-D at Bandar Seri Coalfields cost you?

QUOTE(brother love @ Dec 17 2011, 11:21 AM) Smell problem 4km away? Have been actually been there or spoke to any of the residents there yourself? Bro do u realized if u coming from Damansara Sg Buloh old road, u have to pass Desa Coalfield? And Desa Coalfield itself looks unkempt with swamp like grassses...i went there myself bro, open the car window and at the Bandar Seri Coalfield and even further up at Exit to Latar, therre is a faint smell....some residents claim the problem only once or twice a month now, last time worse... I was myself around Desa Coalfields area yesterday. Was trying out the old road from Kapar to Sg Buloh via Puncak Alam.... Surrounding of Desa Coalfields does looks rather bland...very secluded kinda environment BUT of course a few down the road it'll improve...

QUOTE(awiva @ Dec 17 2011, 08:03 PM) We debated this in the BSC thread. Got comments from DC residents there. I stay near the area. Go there every week to check on the progress of my "house" in BSC. (Tiang also not up yet) So far smell nothing. Anyway, this one RRIM thread. Let's not hijack. I like this part of outer KV, so watching RRIM redevelopment keenly. That's true....lets stick to the thread's title. Yesterday took a drive along the RRIM Road (pretty much still jungle) till Cahaya SPK then continued till Kg Budiman exited at Jalan Paip and came out at Meru Town. Continued driving till Bukit Kapar and then used Jalan Iskandar/Jalan Meru Tambahan to enter Puncak Alam and the finally exited at Desa Coalfields before heading back to Sg Buloh area. Why I did that? Just for the fun of it and to see what road options we have around Sg Buloh after the RRIM project kicks in.... This post has been edited by Xai-V-iaX: Dec 17 2011, 08:24 PM

QUOTE(awiva @ Dec 17 2011, 08:38 PM) You on wrong road lah taiko. That sounds like the Batu Arang Road leading to Puncak Alam. RRIM entrance is on the Sg Buloh Rd. That area quite well developed. No more jungle, just many acres of rubber trees waiting for their last days. Short distance to Subang airport and Kota Damansara. Immediately before RRIM is Mah Sing's up and coming Star Avenue shopping center. Dude I know that.... I just took a stroll drive around the whole RRIM project to the know what is happening and also the road options that there is once the project materializes.

QUOTE(rumahmurah @ Dec 17 2011, 11:51 PM) MRT stations coming up around Sg. Buluh area: 1. Sg Buluh/KTM Stn. 2. Kg. Baru Sg. Buluh Stn. 3. Kota Damansara Stn (along Sg. Buluh to Batu Tiga road.) 4. Tmn. Industri Sg. Buluh Stn. 5. PJU 5 Stn (not sure about the distance from Jalan Sungai Buluh) and on to Dataran Sunway, the Curve and onwards. The first four stations are close to RRIM. The RRIM land which is about 3000 acres in area is a goldmine destined to be a new growth centre of Greater KL. The population within 10-15km radius of the present RRIM would be well served once the proposed development of the RRIM land and beyond is up and running. Could be better than Subang Jaya. Just my 2 sen. Agreed...its just a matter of time...
