Well, if you are limited to Bluray version only, then you are missing A LOT. Most WW2 Movies and Documentaries are in DVD format (some very old ones are even VHS only) Try google around for WWII movies then you understand. But dun think all classic movies are goldies..some are not so good or average only. But if you are a hardcore fan...why not? But of course, Bluray is the way to go...but no harm watching old war movies with an upscaled DVD.

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Jun 30 2010, 10:39 PM) How did Full Metal Jacket 1987 was not listed as war film? TS asked for WWII movies... Full Metal Jacket together with - Platoon - Hamburger Hill - Good Morning Vietnam - Deer Hunter - Apocalypse Now - We were Soldiers - Flight of the Intruder - Born on the Fourth of July - Operation Dumbo Drop - Rescue Dawn - Tigerland - BAT 21 - 84 Charlie Mopic - The Green Beret - Tropics Thunder - that Chuck Norris film - that Rambo film are all under Vietnam War movies.. Not sure if Killing Fields was one of them or not though... TV Series for Nam - Tour of Duty (one of the best war tv series ever!)
