Any reason that u prefer manual way, its the ancient method use by tyre shop during the good old days when computerised alignment system is not available yet? They are not entirely accurate if you use manual method compare to computerised system unless u goes to those shop that only put a alignment machine there as a decorative item.

old klang road, from KL direction to puchong, there is 1 Michelin shop (a corner shop, on your left (opposite Esso station i think)
never been there but my KL local colleague go there all the time, he is really particular about car. another 1 i think not bad is in puchong, thats where i go all the time, its also a Michelin shop. its at Puchong Jaya, near Alliance Bank (Jalan Kenari 9), intermediate shop with Michelin signboard, boss is a skinny uncle. I am not associated with Michelin in anyway, just happen to know these 2 shops with reasonable service. Added on June 30, 2010, 5:17 pmSorry its Jalan Kenari 10 for the puchong shop. QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jun 30 2010, 05:30 PM) it's the traditional way of doing the alignment where the guy works more like a carpenter. in fact the most important tool are similar to carpenter which is the spirit level!the magnetic spirit level's bubble have to be in the middle when it was stick to the disc plate / drum plate (rear). anything else means an adjustment need to be done. then, there is an underbody adjustment like those with machine equipped. time consuming job. the foreman(expert) will test the car's straight line and cornering stability a few times until he satisfied. mine took more than 1 hour to complete. cost almost 100 but i guess it's well worth it. frequent touge to berjaya hills bukit tinggi was a breeze |

PM LYN ID nestum (aka kent, his shop is Kean lee hin at jalan ipoh beside caltex station)I looking for the a best alignment shop in KL area and i prefer manual way..... thanks in advance he uses both machine/manual method. if you're doing it at later night or very early morning via traffic minimal, he will bring your car for touge test if you request for it my car was adjusted by him prior to track day and im damn satisfied with it also free steering calibration if he finds it being off too. alignment IINM between rm20-40. very dirt cheap price lol Added on September 29, 2012, 6:21 pm QUOTE(lot101 @ Sep 24 2011, 10:52 PM) oh ya that's the same with kent's shop. since his shop can only house ONE CAR.so if you go late... be prepared to wait... forever. LOL! (often trips i goto his shop, sit there and sightseeing/chat with kent until shop close. the last trip was from morning till night This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Sep 29 2012, 06:21 PM |
