Any reason that u prefer manual way, its the ancient method use by tyre shop during the good old days when computerised alignment system is not available yet? They are not entirely accurate if you use manual method compare to computerised system unless u goes to those shop that only put a alignment machine there as a decorative item. smile.gif

old klang road, from KL direction to puchong, there is 1 Michelin shop (a corner shop, on your left (opposite Esso station i think)

never been there but my KL local colleague go there all the time, he is really particular about car.

another 1 i think not bad is in puchong, thats where i go all the time, its also a Michelin shop. its at Puchong Jaya, near Alliance Bank (Jalan Kenari 9), intermediate shop with Michelin signboard, boss is a skinny uncle.

I am not associated with Michelin in anyway, just happen to know these 2 shops with reasonable service.

Added on June 30, 2010, 5:17 pmSorry its Jalan Kenari 10 for the puchong shop.

it's the traditional way of doing the alignment where the guy works more like a carpenter. in fact the most important tool are similar to carpenter which is the spirit level!
the magnetic spirit level's bubble have to be in the middle when it was stick to the disc plate / drum plate (rear). anything else means an adjustment need to be done. then, there is an underbody adjustment like those with machine equipped.
time consuming job. the foreman(expert) will test the car's straight line and cornering stability a few times until he satisfied. mine took more
than 1 hour to complete. cost almost 100 but i guess it's well worth it.

can try Race at glenmarie...

balancing, allignment, camber setting - toe in/out, they can do it for u...
price will be more expensive for sure...

i did there be4, after setting go test... not satisfy do again...
spent around 4-5 hours until shop closel... in the end = satisfied...

most important is the allignment setting can last for long period compare to those ciplak tyre shop...
