you mean the battery cover ? I just checked and no sratches at all ........ the material for the case is soft and it shouldn't scratch the phone.

not battery cover there,is the metal which is under the qweety keyboard,I think there is dust or what went in to the cover there and then the dust causing the metal have alot of scratches.

i think we need to update via usb to get all those stated in the new firmware... if update via FOTA maybe get less changes..

I believe FW update, u get the same thing whether over USB or FOTA...it should not have 2 versions (Full / Light).

Oh, would it be possible FOTA got its transmission interrupted midway and not all parts are installed?

Anyhow, best is still to update over USB.

i doubt that if interrupted it will be canceled if not it may brick the phone. But i see changelog not many ppl say about wifi GPS? who here has the wifi GPS in positioning method?

The help file did not mention anything about it though. I updated via USB.

i've got the same casing, now( about 6 months later) it's has turn into yellow colour... hmmm... maybe imitation?

mine is just 1 month old ....... also looks a bit yellowish. but I bought it from a reputable outlet and it should be a genuine one.

then maybe the quality not so good after all, if i compare the colour to the new one then it's very obvious that mine very yellow, did you put it under sun light a lot?

I find capdase alumor metal is the best choice so far. Black case + white phone = Pretty. XD

Added on September 26, 2010, 1:06 amU mean the chrome part. I don't know that dust can cause scratches.

I never put in direct sun light, but somehow the colour is not as white as when I first bought it. except for the slight yellowish colour, no complain on the material quality and so far there is no scratches at all.

Hi E72 users,I'd spend 2 hours ++ to read all the pages in this Nokia E72 v3,found out alot tricks here..

But I got a question is after i upgrade to the latest firmware (v51), my phone can read any chinese words anymore,but I can see chinese when I search on Dictionary, any resolution for that??

I realize that my phone like got alot problems,Im planning to reset and format all the data inside my phone,what step should i follow?

Please guide me,
