if my old pc wanna update XP SP2 to SP3

what should i do before update??

any effect or trick i need to attention before update?

nothing. try to make a backup of your document file just in case anything goes wrong during upgrading.

just copy the important document, and paste it to another HDD

never have any problem doing this.. just installing a patch wouldnt give any trouble i think..

Do nothing. Just install the patch.

That's the worst suggestion one can give.

To TS, I suggest you backup (copy to another location,) your files in case something goes wrong in the upgrade. It is also recommended that you do a System Restore first.
