Change LMST 2004 year batch front grill to 2007 year front grill will bring any benefit? Such as increase the air flow to engine..or reduce the heat of engine bay?

Added on December 3, 2010, 4:05 amAnd i plan to do sound insulation on my lmst..how to reduce the wind sound under dashboard and from window side?

Hi,

I just got a second hand Iswara LMST (registered 2007).  I have a few question.

1) The fuel gauge/meter with two bar left and the fuel empty warning light is already blinking.  Is this normal?  If so how far can it go before the car run out of fuel.

2) Does anyone know if it is possible to download the Owner's Manual?

Thanks.

Regards.

My LMST is also same. Normally left 2 bar and u drive for awhile it will appear warning light..
I actually don know how far can it go before the car run out of fuel, hopping to know too. tongue.gif

I might have one for you...

I sell all four for RM20 smile.gif

Is it ok?

Added on December 7, 2010, 4:11 am
2 bar = 10 liters left on our car...

That means around 100-120km depends on your FC
*
10 Liters mean after 10Liter oil habis...car terus stop?
Or after 10 liter..light baru blinking.. brows.gif

Added on December 7, 2010, 9:22 pmBtw..Someone told me that drive shaft if got problem wanna change, better change both together..else..new drive shaft+old drive shaft might cost the old drive shaft spoil too. Isn't true? And drive shaft is categories by front and behind right?

Today spend RM700 on my car sad.gif Super brooke now sad.gif
But i finally i get my leather seat wrap at Kajang Brothers with RM290..
Although i know it never beat the real leather and it might feel heat when driving under sun..
But as long as it doesn't made my seat so dusty and i don need to worry the stain will stick on it..
With 1 year crack warranty, so it's ok lah.. smile.gif
Btw, get another more high spec tinted at brothers with solid gold version..the people say 70% IRR on rear and side..and 60% IRR in front windscreen..
Never try to feel the different because after installed already late..Totally include labors is Rm410 with 5 year warranty.
Next project will be sound reduction, drive shaft and regular service! It's time to save money on it again sad.gif

I got new problem here. When my car is driving no matter straight road or corner..i can hear the sound like metal gosok metal..Some ppl say it might be brake issue..maybe brake didn't got brake shoe ady..And if got sound like this..i need to skim my disk brake? Or actually not this problem? Btw..no matter i switch ON account or switch OFF..the sound still here..so i assume is not relate with aircon..and if really brake issue..than why i didn't step brake but step petal it also got the sound?

check brake caliper... mayb it jammed up a little bit... could not release the piston enough... hence the brake pad is still in contact with the disc rotor...
*
I think should be brake caliper problem. How to solve this and how much roughly?
Just now i try ady...if i drive without step brake..than not sound coming out..
But everytime i step brake..and step petal again..the sound will coming..
And after drive for a while..the sound will gone until next time i press the brake again.

And alignment after change driveshaft and add camber nut total Rm95..isn't necessary to do it? Sekali gus repair steering holder with RM80+ isn't necessary to do it? Scare he ask me to do something that might not necessary to do it.

dat one user manual and workshop manual also dun have laa... go spare part shop, they should have the pre-cut rubber seal meant for individual cars... if not u use benang ukur the lilitan of ur door lining lor....
LCP improve overall one la.. dun have specific which rpm it will improve...
yeah, generally LCP improves fuel consumption as u will have lighter revs building up... hence, u dont need to rev so much to accelerate...
*
Any bad effect using LCP? Size got different? Going uphill will need to rev more and suffer isn't?
