recently my car radiator not spinning when temp raise. but the prob is, the fan is working after tested bypass the wiring and staright from battery and it spinning. any idea what happened here? some said sensor, some said fius. anyone can show me how this two look like and how much it cost?

It means he swapped his 4G13 or 4G15 for an Altis engine.

It looked like a Mitsubishi engine, though I'm sure he
said it was an Altis.

He said it had good fuel comsumption. Also had an auto gearbox.
Changed to a double layer radiator, and his temp never went
above the first quarter mark, which means the fan hardly ever
comes on.

Using a GP battery meant for racing, cost some $300.

He said the engine cost him $3,800, and had to wait for
a few months. If you are interested in this conversion,
I'll have to phone him to ask where he did it.

He told me some guy offered him $18,000 for his Iswara
sedan, 1995 model I think.  Body and paintwork still in
good condition, I think repainted.

This compares with my 1997 model, which used to belong
to my younger brother, and Honda offered him .... $4,000
when he asked about trading it in for his new City. So my
elder brother decided to buy it from him for the same price,
and I'm the one who has now borrowed it.

hey guys...i own one iswara aeroback year 1995.... so far i had changed the engine once... but this car really need a major rebuild work.... as for now, the car hood and dashboard shake like hell when rpm is lower than 1k... as far as i understand, this is majorly because of the engine mounting right? if it is because of the mounting, how much usually will it cost to change 1 set of the mounting including the installation fees and any recommended workshop for this work? and another thing, this car when i hit a bump or rough road, the sounds is like shit... its like "kedebang kedebang", i think its from the doors.. anyone know how to rectify this?

my foreman said if alternator belt putus engine will overheat... i couldnt see the connection.. true or not?

Hi guys..
Just now i went to change my car tyre..
Recently my engine oil was leaking, so i decided to ask why it happen..
The show owner told me that i need to change the timing belt which consist of timing belt,timing bearing and timing oil seal...
He quoted me RM240 for the whole set...
Is that price reasonable ..?

My father's friend can repair car..
If the price quoted are high then Im planning to buy the timing belt kit on my own and give it to my father's friend..
What is current market price for a timing belt set..?
What are the good brand available..?
Im using Iswara LMST..6 years ready..Mileage 40000km..

My father's fren also recommend that brand..MMC which cost around RM80...
Will ask him to check the water pump and oil pump as well...

dat day i buy GATES mia... rm100... dunno cheap or expensive.... rm210 include installation is ok... change timing belt quite lot of work to do one... if u clever change urself lo...

i dunno whats my previous brand, but it lasted only 20k km.

tat is just 2 bolt on the tensioner, loosen both bolt, and then push the tensioner to the end, tighten the tensioner adjustment bolt, install timing belt according to the marking, and then loosen the tensioner adjustment bolt again, the spring will auto push the tensioner pulley to the timing belt, then tighten back both bolt, check whether the belt is enough tension or not, that all...

I think i have found the right foreman... gonna stick to one guy now... RM150 for radiator fan motor and the alternator belt...  including labour.  im not a cheap guy who goes for cheap stuff... but im a student...i've no choice...i ask for the lowest price possible. To all the foreman in here... please know that i as a user understand what you all go through... YES you all need your duit makan also... I respect that...    im going to run now...

Its gud to learn DIY methods to save sum $$$. But if done it wrongly.... its gonna cost more thn the actual amount

Guys,any sifu here know how to change the dashboard meter bulb to led?is it just take out the 4 screw and just replace the bulb with led type?
