N y do the mechanic use toyota long life coolant?

harlow everybody..change radiator today...they charge me rm293 for a recond saga radiator plus workmanship plus toyota long life coolant..do u think the price charged is okay? the radiator look so cheapskate, not sure can tahan for even 1 year or not..

kinda cheap..i got my coolant for rm25...the double layer radiator is what brand?

i sent to my workshop the boss was my buddy but was not in so 1 of his new sin ka lan worker help me check say my rack kong la my lower arm kong la this kong that kong 
then i wait till boss come back ask him again he check then discover only mounting bush kong

rm180 most probably include installation...
60bux timing belt usually just the stuff... which i dont recommend... try get more reliable brands... Gates timing belt kit cost approx rm100... MMC slightly higher...
remember to change ur water pump as well... its a 1 time job, coz changing water pump in the future requires removal of ur timing belt...
carbon deposit building up... most probably makan minyak hitam d... all 4 also same condition???... or just 2 pc??...
go outside any exhaust shop la... far cheaper den do at proton...

yes u need to remove the center cap... not sure what size though...
got budget i recommend k&n... if tarak, any washable filter also can laa... as long as rajin wash it and make sure the filter element is not damaged and still allowing airflow going through it...

yes... better change sparkplug as well... carbon buildup'ed spark plugs tend to misfire more as current cannot jump the plug electrodes...

my exhaust olso doesnt emit black blue smoke but the spark plug inside blacken within 2 month

Hey guys,
  My saga has a problem, whenever i hit the brake hard it makes this screeching noise, damn loud one .
It was coming from the front so i checked the pads and the disc but it all seems fine .
The pads still got alot left.

Any one been trough this before? Im currently using Bendix brake Pads... Will Skimming help?

I have opend the cap before to change the Bearing. Behind the cap was a 32mm nut .
Tried to open the nut but it was damn tough. So i send to the Mechanic instead

my trip meter stopped working morning and last time sent to service cost me around 45. but today woooooooohoooooooooooo, planning changing new one, then tk it and try doing myself. and now the trip meter working again ~~!. hehe, didnt wasted any money except some time...

Hi, would appreciate if any forumers here can recommend a good battery type (brand) for the Proton Saga, having experienced by themselves.  My newly delivered Saga (less than 1 month old) could not start after 1 week's of non-usage. Battery voltage dropped to 6.5 volts.  Went to SC but was denied a new replacement battery, and instead, they just manually charge it for 15 hours.

something wrong with ur car wiring i guess... somewhere is short circuiting.. if u lazy to find out the cause, disconnect the battery if u leave the car for few days untouched...

its not the battery problem... normal healthy battery should even last for weeks even the engine is not started...

can use ron95 laa.. ur mechanic sinkalan u... retard ur ignition timing a little bit more... change new sparkplugs... should be no problem... make sure ur engine din makan engine oil can adi...

Hi All,

I currently driving the proton saga Iswara 2007( orange color model).

3 weeks ago, i had some issue when i drove my car. It jerks terribly when it hits 3000rpm at 2nd gear. Since its near the time for me to do my periodic maintenance, i send for maintenance. During the check up, the mechanics found out that its time to change my spark plug as it's filled with carbons deposit. At the same time, i also change the cable for the spark plug and did some maintenance here and there.

Then the mechanic asked me, what petrol i'm using. I told him I'm using Ron95 with some adjustment to the timing. He told me that my car, according to the manual, it is suppose to run on Ron 97. And when i change to Ron 95, the maintenance cost over long period will be higher as the Ron95 will effects my car performance and conditions (i think he is talking about Ron 95 is not good for the engine etc..).

He suggested i changed back to Ron 97. I did do that but the petrol price recently jsut hike up again.

So, my question is that, 1)Does using ron 95 really that bad for the engine?

I'm not sure how to compare the cost wise for different grade of fuel but basicly, 2) is it true when he says the maintenance cost will be higher and its much more worthwhile to pay for the higher fuel cost for Ron97?

avoid using mf calcium dry type brand made from korea 
paliah brand paliah quality only cheaper then century 20 buck    
tepat tepat 1 year mati
last time use century dry can tahan 2 years and two month for two time
