@dARKaNGEl,

You can backup your old iphone into itunes then when you connect your ip4 into your itunes you can restore it back with your backup file.. all sms and notes will be onto your new ip4.

oh yes, i do know this way. but the itunes backup seems to backup alot of stuffs, which i dont need. just the sms n notes would do. Also, last time i restore from backup like this, the battery power seems to go down quicker as compared to setting up as new phone.

since then, i follow the backup way shown here.

My manually cut simcard finally gave way, even after multiple inserts, it pops out "No Sim Card" on the iPhone 4. Had to go to Celcom Jalan Ampang, and get a replacement simcard. Punched the right sim size for the just-activated 32GB iPhone 4 bought from Apple Store Sydney, and voila! Good as new. biggrin.gif

Heading to Lowyat Plaza at 1pm, got someone about to be very happy with getting my 16GB iPhone 4. I admire his resilience and determination to have saved money even though he's not earning muchat all. It is folks like these that I'd rather sell them my iPhone 4 allocation, he'll cherish this for the rest of his life. smile.gif

Had to ask here, is the MicroSIM available for postpaid users only or prepaid as well?

To me, it is definitely worth it. Super tight fit once it is punched out from the main card, and you can easily stick it back in there with tape if you wanna reuse it. I would suggest a simple micro-sim-to-normal-simcard adapter, Beavis has them too.

Yup, the Australian unit is perfect! Same as the UK unit, zero "Death Grip", call problems or proximity sensor issues. I no longer have to pick and choose what to put on my iPhone 4 anymore. rclxms.gif

i'm not say much (because i might be biased from my own experience) but i'm pretty sure everyone can make a very simple comparison or what not.

On Maxis you can get the microsim enhanced data package. I was told that after 6 months, you can convert to prepaid plan

On Celcom , Digi - just buy any of their Broadband prepaid package and cut the sim card down to micro size yourself using a sharp pair of scissors. It works perfectly - I have tried both prepaid Digi ( EDGE only ) and Celcom . Finally settled on Celcom prepaid

I'd say the main advantage of using the puncher is that you can use back your microsim as a normal sim card when the need arise. Other than that, using a sharp scissors to cut is less of a hassle - fast and easy

BTW guys - I'll reschedule my monthly trips to KL and tried to be there this Thu - my second time meetup!
