I am having the same issue. Especially when after u picking some coins and u want to start slicing again, it seems like can't detect ur finger, and u need to tap tap the screen a little bit then only u can start slicing again....I think it is the game issue like lagging and some minor bugs. Hope it solve the issue in the coming update.
