What you should really look at is the attributes that has magenta box.
Although Current Pending Sector Count is not under warranty, but you should watch out for RAW Read Error Rate and Reallocated Sector Count, as this may affect those 2 in long term, you should perform backup to avoid lost of data.

Have a look at the Reallocated Sector Count you'll see the RAW column has some value "BA", means there's some damage on your hard disk that's unrepairable or there's no more spare sectors to cover the damage, send for warranty, if you can still read some of your data, back them up now.
Dynamic is for software RAID purpose. Other than that, I couldn't find any purpose for using Dynamic disk.

There're plenty out there (plastic or steel casing) but 3.5" HDD require 12v power, that also means you need wall socket power to runs it (through steps down adapter), it become inconvenient in a sense.
Durability of HDD will pretty much depends on your usual usage, how you handle or keep sake of the device, HDD still not drop proof yet, Transcend does implement a rug case to protect the HDD but under operation, a drop will definitely bring the HDD right to its grave. Even so, great care like mine still fail due to bad sectors, manufacturer fault, things will fail, but if you want definite rug, then take SSD, drop from 10 floor under operation and it still runs like there was nothing, but probably your other devices already met their ancestors.
