Hey guys, a newbie question to inquire, last year i bought a 1TB WD Green 3.5" for desktop. Everything seems working fine but recently i having quite a headache with this HDD. As most of my movie files and documents are store inside, it take me minutes just to open some Word file. Any resolution to speed up to disk? Much appreciated.

If i would like to get a new hdd for my OS which should i get? 1TB WD Black or 1TB WD Enterprise or 1TB WD AV-GP?

after reading of pages in this thread, so i guess its for me to decide to settle with Samsung F4 2TB or WD Blue 2TB. Which one has the upper hand?

Guys, deciding for new rig. Should i install OS in WD Blue 500gb or Samsung F3 500gb? i plan to get another WD Green 2TB for storage though.

i am using WD Blue 500gb, you could try either WD Blue of Samsung F3 for better performance compared to green
