QUOTE(DannyChok @ Sep 4 2010, 09:21 PM) i would like to ask, can Raid 0 works on both different hdd? It's recommended to choose both the same model for RAID purpose, and AFAIK WD Green is not good for RAID, as it'll reduce the life cycle of the read/write head sit.i currently using WD 1.5TB 64mb HDD. can i buy other size of HDD do make it RAID 0 with my current HDD? because of my budget, i wish i could buy a new 2 smaller hdd to make Raid0, but i notice that smaller size HDD just run on 8MB cache.. confuse.. pls help me.. tqtq If you really want speed from WD, get the Black Edition instead, but most of us here would surely recommend Samsung F3 1TB, get 2 or the 500GB version (not sure if it's F3 or F2) and RAID0 them, cheaper, and way faster. |

Lol. Don't need to change to quad core la. My Pentium D still handles 3 hard disks well.
Try troubleshoot the sata cable first. Plug out and replug/ purchase new sata cable. And download the hard disk troubleshoot tool from the manufacturer's website and run a full scan for bad sectors. |
