Can I direct take the Seagate Hdd to the UPS SCS (M) Sdn Bhd at Subang Jaya there for RMA ?

i would like to ask, can Raid 0 works on both different hdd?
i currently using WD 1.5TB 64mb HDD.
can i buy other size of HDD do make it RAID 0 with my current HDD?
because of my budget, i wish i could buy a new 2 smaller hdd to make Raid0,
but i notice that smaller size HDD just run on 8MB cache..
confuse.. pls help me..

I'll say this first as I'm in no offence of WD Black but the speed compared to Samsung is slower and the price way higher (not sure what so good about the premium).
I'm using one so I know about this, the heat is an issue, way too high in my prespective, if you really want cool harddisk, take Samsung, for the 1TB F3 version, it's faster, cheaper and way cooler than WD Black.
But, if you're royal fan of WD, then by all means, get a better fan to cool it down fast.

the F4 is a single platter single head drive.

should 3 platter as apposed of F3 4 platter, which i think generate more heat..
or any other factors contribute?

When I post the package to them, which pos I should use? Poslaju or PostExpress?

How should I wrap the HDD in order not to get damages when posting?

How about the payment? When they post back to me, who's the one who pay?

actually i looking for an enclosure with esata+usb. currently i had one docking station with esata port. so will the cache size really matter? btw, can someone recommend an enclosure with esata?

Still manage to get the data? If not, it is pretty much a brick. Data recovery cause an arm and a leg.

Get the Black, the price is dropping like hell due to Samsung competitive pricing and performance, the 1TB Black should be around RM200 right now @ Lowyat.

If you feels brand has no issue for you, go for Samsung F3/F4 1TB 7,200rpm, performance is way better than Western Digital 1TB Black.

Currently I'm using wd640 green as my os drive and thinking get another 1tb for storage and gaming use. So far I read review that wd green series actually run at 5400rpm and some complain extreme slow.
I never compare with other hdd before so which u guys recommend?wd green or better go for seagate?

^Ah yes Performance over reliability. I already have a RAMDISK as well. Read Write 750+-mB/s Just that I want to test out this array whether it is fast or not.
