No at the moment, 1.5TB and 2TB currently only available in EG (Eco Green) model, and it's running at 5,400rpm.Actually I'm looking forward to some thing like the Spinpoint F3 1Tb but in 2TB flavor, any Sifu can recommend? If you want speed and capacity of 2TB, take Western Digital Carviar Black 2TB. |

yup very dangerous because its RAID-0 2TB, but considering the performance of f3 hdds would like to try
If RAID-0 for much smaller harddisk is safer or put it this way, RAID 0+1. Mirror + striping |

QUOTE(fariz @ Jul 29 2010, 02:19 PM) most hard disk consume less than 10W (including WD Black), so it doesn't run hot. it think 10 watt for power rating. how about temperature?http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/storage/d...2_16.html#sect0 normally in our country and environment, operating temperature could kill the HDD. From WD website: QUOTE Operating 32° F to 140° F In my case, harddisk load can be around 45 degrees. |
