About IDE-SATA-IDE Converter.

When connecting IDE Har Disk to SATA Mobo, do you need to set the IDE Hard Disk jumpers (master/slave..etc). Can just leave it empty and config via BIOS?

I don't think you'll need to configure the jumpers. should be detected as sata HDD

Can I use a IDE-SATA converter for my external HDD (Sarotech) in the future?

It's a good external case for HDD.

my seagate expansion hdd kong, cannot detect, no spin at all and there's a tiny alarm..

Hey, is there a performance boost for gaming.....IDE HDD vs SATA HDD ?

not much on the interface.. but the old hdd kinda slow not becoz of the IDE..
but some might be yes..

newer hdd is much faster.. and most using sata..

If I'm not mistaken, it uses 1 less plater, cooler, less power consumption and much faster then previous gen, but from my opinion, it doesn't make much different cause I'm not really into speed, just for storage, that's all.
