guys, my nokia n79 is starting to break down so i need to push my plans for an android smart phone forward. been eyeing desire all this while. galaxy s is interesting with the onboard memory and samoled but i use camera flash a lot and like sense ui.

my original plan was for an iphone, as i was using an ipod touch since last year and have grown accustomed to its apps/games. But the way Apple have been handling the antennae issue disgusts me completely, so i'll stay with my ipod touch only, on principle. There's no fm radio anyway on it, that i was so hoping on since last year.

can you guys recommend a seller based in lowyat/cod there that still sells the desire below the rrp or still at the promo price?

my desire is stock, installed quite a few apps, still using the 2gb card it came with. no music/videos/contents.

i bought a 8gb microsdhc. can i just swap it in, or would there be some steps like copy pasting folders from the original microsd?

ok, one major gripe is the stock lock screen of the desire

when a call comes through the answer action is easy to accidentally trigger while in the pocket. the capacitive screen can be triggered by the skin of my thigh, as the pocket fabric is thin enough to conduct some current.

this can be solved by a better lock screen when received calls. you guys have any ideas?

the slide down when it does has too short a travel, i frequently end up answering the call accidentally in my pocket.

for those of u flashing LeeDroid, are you using Amon Ra or clockworkmod's Recovery?

ok....LeeDroid 1.6 seems to noticeably drain the battery hardcore

pls recommend one battery saving ROM

already done earlier....still bad

im thinking of ditching LeeDroid 1.6 due to its poor batt life for OpenDesire

anybody here on OpenDesire can comment a bit on battery life?

strange.....battery getting way better after 3 days on LeeDroid1.6
