Just go settings then click date and time then u can change your time there. I have a question about the time too. I usually set my time 10mins faster than the correct time. The problem is when i send an sms at say 10.30 then i get a reply at 10.25. Is there any possibility to change the timing of the msg received coz its annoying me a little. haha

-data usage timer?

as i wan to check the unit whether it is really brand new as told by the shop salesman.

actually u can upgrade but cannot downgrade if you tied to the contract. (u need to go Maxi$ center for doing so).
However, before u do that, make sure ur data usage is not exceeding what so called "prorated" limit. Means if day 1 u registered for 500mb, and day 10 u wish to upgrade, the total data usage must not exceed 500mb/30*10days = 166.667mb. otherwise, everything that exceed this limit will count as per use instead of package. (which cost u 0.05sen/kb)

i was using SE before Desire and yes.... the Desire camera is not on par wif SE.  my G900 have this image stabilizing function that at least helps when i press the shutter while with Desire i get blurry pic half d time i press the trackball.

about the alarm, i am using Alarm Clock Plus v2 now.  I do hve a task killer installed.  lemme see if that is the culprit.

Just bought a desire last week.  Is there any way to play avi or mkv video files on it?

i just have several questions to be answered before buying this phone... as i am know contemplating between iphone 4 and htc desire...

Q1: can desire install messengers like skype, YM, gtalk, etc?
Q2: can desire email apps be linked with my office email?
Q3: is the facebook on desire as handy as on iphone? sorry if this Q is a bit sensitive...

i think thats all... i'll keep posting if i have more Q...
