Not so sure if this is old news, but HTC Android 2.2 Froyo update for HTC Desire is out. The prerequisites is you must have a Rooted phone and Koush Fakeflash installed on SD. More details on this link:

regarding my question earlier, ive already tried Titanium Backup (free version via market) just now, backup my Fifa 2010.. Wipe, Flash new ROM then restore using Titanium backup and my game progress is still there! yippe! i wonder if it works like charm on other games too..

Im using LeeDroid Mod and i recommend you to try this one in case ur going to the dark side with us  .. he is very fast at fixing bug and he is very dedicated at it too. 

i cant help u much and guide about unrevoked since im using the old method. Im not even quite sure if unrevoked allows flashing using rom manager (update zip flashing) or it uses recovery image. Try reading more on unrevoked b4 u start working. For sure u will get root with 1click using unrevoked but i dont know about flashing custom roms when ur using unrevoked. Perhaps its the same and perhaps not. I just don't know. Did u find a full tutorial using unrevoked and flashing custom roms once u used unrevoked? If u do, why not share here so that we could read on that also Please do a lil bit of homework i suggest.. hehe.. its better to be safe

Anyone here tried unrevoked and wanna share some tips for this fella? btw, im sticking to Leedroid mod with froyo sense.. i still prefer sense over vanilla I tried so many roms before even the vanilla ones but i really do miss htc sense so much. Just my 2.30cents here

Yea I'm on LeeDroid and the battery drain seems to be fast. With HTC Sense Live Wallpaper and Wifi on (With Screen On and phone left idle), battery falls by 3% in just 8minutes. Not to mention if I use it for browsing, some apps or downloads from market, the battery drain will even be faster lol.
I've recently got this new habit of flashing  ROMs several times (maybe 3-5 in a day), I know it's not good. Got to gradually stop it 

1. Yes, there are messenger like eBuddy, meebo or official ym. not sure msn got or not
2. Yes you can setup mail sync in Desire.
3. No idea, i do not use iphone app b4 maybe others can help u on this. But HTC got frenstream

Just a normal HTC one i believe. strange thing is after i install LeeDroid ROM i can't login to the HTC sense facebook anymore

err.. sorry if a bit off topic.
i bought a desire last week from the maxis store in e@curve. Yesterday a lady from HTC called me saying that i was invited to some party on the 31st of July 2010 as a token of appreciation, and that she will e-mail me the details of the party. Couldnt get more info from her as i was driving at the time. Anybody who bought the desire from maxis recently get this kind of call? I never got the e-mail. Is this some sort of SCAM/SPAM?

This ROM has better battery life than any other froyo+sense available in XDA. If u search 'battery' in that thread, you can see all the positive reviews regarding the battery life.

I ran a test and this ROM has a higher quadrant score than LeeDroid ROM. I got 1280 on LeeDroid while 1382 on NeoPhyTe ROM!

The sense apps are still there. There are 2 galleries available, one HTC one 3D Nexus One gallery. HTC Mail widget is still there.

Did you have ex3 partition?
Normally I flash new ROM using this way:
1)Full Wipe
2)Partition SD (0 swap, 512ext, the rest fat32, upgrade ext2>ext3)
3)Nandroid backup
4)Put ROM in SD Card (USB-MS Toggle)
5)Flash ROM from zip

i formatted my whole SD card before using neophyte.. then i repartitioned it using ROM manager.. seems to be working fine for now.. all apps installation work well and fine..

btw, i still dont know how to partition above 512.. im only using rom manager btw.. any tips? i see ben r using 1024

btw guys, does anyone here noticed that when using a2sd+, when u charge ur phone using the car charger, it unmounts the sd card eventhough that ur just using a car charger in a car? it happened to me, happened while im on leodroid mod.. i will confirm back later and see how its going with neophyte.. if it does occur, bad issue with GPS in car while charging then since u can run the app which is already install inside the SD
i flashed mine using the without radio version and it went well.. nvm.. at least u got it right
i still cant confirm bout the battery drain issue as im playing games usually.. lol.. i got a 1400 quadrant score btw.. lol..
