Seems that Desire and Legend has almost the same issues...both good and bad. Yes, some CS store claim to have no stock throughout Malaysia so as to put the fault at Maxis HQ. It actually depends on availability and location. Of course certain stores have more purchase compared to the other shops located outside of town.

For such a high tech gadget, you end up using unconventional methods of addressing a problem. Steve Jobs must be a whack to suggest that.

Samsung is diversifying its phone model so as to cover as many target audience as possible. HTC has always been focusing on PDA and touchscreen since the beginning. Of late, HTC seems to direct its path towards android. My best bet is to jump in the HTC wagon and get yourself Desire (or legend). SenseUI to me is the most beautiful user interface I've ever seen on a phone screen. Granted, Samsung Wave is equally a good model, but perhaps its the only model by samsung that will ever grace android this year.

Wow, is paid apps really worth it guys? So far, all of the free apps seems to be quite good enough for new users such as me. Right now, I'm a bit curious to what are some of the apps that is really worthy of paying.

lol, you delete these, basically you're without an OS. Market is the app that lets you enter android market (obviously).
I'm not sure about com.htc, but my guess is that its the SenseUI.

Sadly, even after installing Advanced Task Killer, my battery runs out quickly by late afternoon. Perhaps the battery has not reach its optimum capacity yet.

when you say play, do you mean just touch, touch or testing the apps and function? I think it depends on certain maxis centre if they actually have a demo model. Like a forumer said, KLCC and BB definitely got demo set. Anywhere else, I think they probably let you hold and feel it, but to turn it on maybe not cause they're showing off the stock set.

Gee...I haven't actually tried those kinds of games on my android. Now that you mentioned it, perhaps its time for me to get into game mode with this phone. Thx for the suggestions too.

I'm using this method too. Though sometimes the audio will out of sync with the video. Usually happen to me for video more than 10 minutes. Any idea why?

try putting down your phone and hit the refresh list. I'm not too sure on where is the antenna located in Desire, but when holding the phone in certain way, it might impede the quality of reception. These days, everyone is getting paranoid due to iPhone/wifi issue.

Anybody tested the FM radio? How good is the reception? Last time I heard Desire is having trouble locking in to some local stations.

Well, I'm sure the price will go down soon enough. Even now many sellers are reducing its prices. Bear in mind that cheaper prices are only available in phone shops, NOT telco companies.
